My name is Ben and I’m a 25-year-old man currently incarcerated. I was born and raised in northern Alaska to a Yup’ik mother and a Hungarian father. I was later adopted by a Yup’ik Eskimo family, and grew up in Fairbanks.

I landed on the inside after committing a serious crime during my teens while impaired by several substances. It has taken me many years to fully embrace sobriety and forgive myself for those mistakes, and I would really like to find a new friend to write and possibly talk to on the phone who is compassionate and open-minded, and whose sense of humor will bring light to my life as I finish out the rest of my sentence.

I love listening to music, working out, fishing, watching sports, and working on cars. Once released, my goals are to become a heavy equipment operator, earn a good living, and help take care of my elderly parents.
