My name is “Hazel Jade” (not legally).  I’m a transgender woman looking to build a network of positivity around me.  Thanks so much for viewing my profile.

I’m originally from Chicago, IL. I’ve been in transition for years, and as a result, I feel personally validated.  But it cost me… My familia relationships, (hopefully not forever) have suffered, but I had to embrace my truth.  I’m looking for someone to talk to, laugh with, and encourage.

As those people out there need uplifting too, I’m honest, open-minded, fiercely loyal, encouraging, and down-to-earth, yet humble.  I love to read, write poems, plays, short stories, etc.  I like to work out, cook, but most of all, love to listen.  I’m not selfish with my time—just listening to someone heals the soul.  It’s validating.

As I embrace my truth, I realize that I can’t do it alone.  I’m currently a “mental health/suicide watch companion,” because I lack a social outlet.  As you can imagine, a simple conversation with someone on the outside is a breath of fresh air, and that’s what I need.  I believe that our experiences shape our perceptions.  Therefore, I do my best to experience the positive things in life so that I’m needed.  I can uplift those around me.

I’m searching for “good people” to converse with and learn from.  I have a lot to offer and hopefully gain positivity in return.  I strive to be “stable,” “unwavering,” and “strong.”
