Hey, my name’s Dirk, and I feel like there’s a lot of people out there like me.  People that have their life together but can’t seem to come across someone that’s the same.  I have everything I need, except a person to share my day with, because we both know genuine friendship and companionship is rare.

I’ve been in for about 18 years and can’t express enough how badly I regret what I did.  When I was 17, I shot a person through a door and wounded another.  I’m putting in for a resentencing, so even though I won’t be getting anything special, the fact that I’ve done so much time means I have a good chance.  Because of cases like “The Fletcher Case,” courts are starting to see that juveniles are different.

If you’re looking for someone to laugh with, maybe read a book or two, or just express what’s going on in your day too, then reach out to me because I definitely want to know you.  I’m not here to judge, but I am 34, so I’d rather deal with a woman that’s older than me, who’s been through enough to understand what matters most.

P.S. I just started teaching myself sign language, so if you’re hearing-impaired and are interested in making a friend, then I would be so grateful to get to know you.  Plus, my signing really sucks right now, so honestly, I could use the inspiration.
