Hey! I am Emily.

As you may already know by the profile I am currently incarcerated in Ypsilanti, MI at the Women’s Huron Valley. I celebrated my birthday on February 22nd, 2023 which was my first birthday in prison.

Before these gates welcomed me in, I worked as a carpenter/ roofer all over Michigan for about 12 years. I love custom woodworking and genuinely enjoy the trade as a form of art Drawing and tattooing are my second favorite art forms.

Before prison I was a rambunctious adrenaline junky often accused of “burning the wick at both ends”. God said it was time for me to sit down.

Currently, my release date is Fall of 2028.

I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason and I accept life exactly as it is, always.

While incarcerated I am working to create the life I have always wanted through spiritual growth and mental planning, rather than running for the finish line blindfolded. I am beating addiction everyday. One. Day. At. A. Time.

I am very active. I love to exercise, play sports, dance, help out on the yard, all of which I do religiously here.

Some of my favorite hobbies outside of prison are motocross, snocross, cruising on street bikes, traveling and hiking. I have a son who loves to race around with me.

I am hoping to find some new friends to vibe with while locked up and beyond.
