I am not in search of a romantic relationship.  I’m specifically making this appearance as part of an advocacy initiative to expose the inhumane conditions and systemic failures within the prison system and to seek assistance in helping me tell this story.

Tax payers deserve to know how their tax dollars are being spent because the treatment incarcerated individuals receive within these institutions plays a significant role in how we return to society.  When people are mistreated, denied basic human rights, and subjected to abuse or neglect, it becomes incredibly difficult to change the very behaviors that corrections were put in place to address.

Unfortunately, I have lost all trust in the legal process.  I no longer wish to pursue litigation unless its absolutely necessary, because I cannot sit through another deposition were dishonesty and perjury are met with protection and silence.  I’ve witnessed DOC employees be sworn in under oath then minutes later commit perjury.  For me it’s heartbreaking, because in June I’ll be 49 years of age, and I understand that accepting responsibility for my actions is imperative to my rehabilitation.

So, I’m searching for positive, motivating people to engage with that can assist me in telling this story whether it’s through your advice, kind words, intellect, or understanding.  I’m reaching out to the world.
