Hey free world.  My name is Jhalmar Medina, but I go by dreamer, called that on account that I am able to control my dreams 80% of the time, and because I sleep a lot.  It’s my escape from these walls, my dreamland world where I can really escape from this nightmare.

So, I’m just looking to find a female friend I can write letters to and/or call.  If I call it will be no charge to you as I will pay for my calls.  I also have access to a table that is connected to the “GettingOut” app on people’s phones or computers, as another form of communication, though I do not have internet access.  To be honest, just to be able to communicate with a female would be a blessing. I am surrounded by dudes all the time and only speak to them, hopefully not for much longer.

A little about myself. I am 36 years old, my birthday is November 11, Veterans Day, shout out to those who protect this Nation and put their lives on the line so we can live the way we do. I grew up in Charlotte, NC. I enjoy listening to music, watching movies, of every kind, depending on the mood I am in, always in the mood for Rom/Coms LOL. I love books, they really are another form of escape for me. I read fantasy, self-help, spies/thrillers, and Manga, or whatever grabs my interest at the time. I also enjoy working out, playing soccer and basketball. I like to write, and draw. I am good with graphite pencils and am trying to teach myself to draw with colored pencils. I plan to be a tattoo artist when I get out of prison. Which my lawyer is working on right now. I’ve been incarcerated since I was 16 years old. The laws have been changing since I was sentenced, so according to one and an executive order from our governor, I will be up for parole in April 2024. I’ve worked on myself a lot since being in here. I’ve made some terrible mistakes, I am not perfect, but I am now a better person than I was as a teenager and will always continue to work on myself to be the best version of myself I can be, more on any of this if we become friends, which I hope you will give me a chance to become with you. Can a person never change? Or does our worst day define the rest of our lives?
