My case does not define me.  I’m not perfect, and I just ask for the chance to show who I am.  I’m caring, trustworthy, loyal, and open-minded.  Plus, I’m a great listener.

My favorite color is blue.  I love sports and music.  I play the drums, and I also can sing, rap, and write songs.  I have three daughters that mean the world to me.  I pray they grow up and know who I really am and what I stand for.

I’m from Chicago but also lived in Tucumcari, New Mexico, on and off growing up as my mother battled with her health.  I played football, basketball, and ran track, and as I got older, I started to become inconsistent as a student-athlete due to depression and struggling with not having my father in my life.  I had a scholarship to play basketball, which I lost, but I still wanted to further my education after graduation, so I enrolled in a local state college but never got to attend due to my incarceration.

I made some mistakes in life ~ some bigger than others ~ but I remain hopeful for my future as I try to get my conviction overturned because I’m wrongfully convicted.

I hope as I continue on my journey, someone can see the good in me and build a great friendship and bond with me.
