34-year-old Irish American, college-educated transgender woman seeking platonic and potentially romantic penpals.

I grew up in upstate New York, in suburbs and countryside, and enjoy sports (baseball—I’m a New York Mets fan, soccer—supporting Man United, tennis, and bowling), horseback riding; riding ATVs—there’s nothing like mudding through wooded trails; fishing, camping, and hiking; traveling; reading a good book (favorite authors: John Grisham and Jodi Picoult); writing; theater; and all forms of art.

I enjoy all kinds of food, but my favorites are Southern comfort food and Italian. Country, classic rock, and Christian music are my favorite genres; however, I do enjoy listening to a little bit of everything—my favorite artists are Clint Black, Reba McEntire, Metallica, NF, and Imagine Dragons.

I am an incarcerated freelance journalist who mainly writes reporting pieces on criminal justice, but I am also working on a book of poetry about the Harlem Renaissance, Booker T. Washington, and Langston Hughes, as well as a memoir.  I also love law and hope to one day go to law school and teach at the university.
