Hey, my name is John Newton. I’m a 36-year-old African American from Monroe, Louisiana. I stand 6’3″ with an athletic build. I love to work outdoors and am very skillful with my hands. I worked for a phenomenal railroad company before my incarceration.

I’m married but separated and have one child. I’m big on family. I love giving and being of great service to others. I love to learn through people, books, and lessons. I’m spiritually connected to God! I am not religious, just a God-fearing king. My dreams are to build and open multipurpose centers for the youth throughout rural and urban areas to help them attain a more positive and constructive perspective of life.

I’m building towards my goals while serving a 17 1/2-year sentence for 2nd-degree attempted murder/aggravated assault with a firearm. My outdate is 6-9-39. I’ve been incarcerated since 12-14-21. Let’s build through email.
