Hello, I’m a recovering addict.  I made a load of bad decisions while I was addicted, and it landed me here.  I’m working hard to turn my life around and hope to keep this momentum going once I’m released.  I hope I can start over in a whole new state.  I want to remove myself from my past 100% and start living the good life I know is waiting for me.  I plan on becoming a drug/addiction/support counselor when I’m released.  I know people going through what I went through need all the help they can get, and I want to be a part of what helps save them.  I believe that god will help all his lost children return to him.  I believe that he has called upon me to help them in their journey.  I know I don’t seem to have much time left here, but every day seems to last forever when you miss your family.  I have been acquiring my education and completing any and all programs available to me to help me when I am released back into society.  I want to be a part of my children’s lives and pray I can someday be someone that makes them proud.  I am very serious about staying sober and finding the special someone to walk beside me on this new life journey.  If you already have someone in your life, please do not jeopardize what you have with someone who already loves you by writing to me.  I could not live with myself feeling like I played any part in someone else’s heartbreak.  I want my ride-or-die and their heart to belong solely to me.  I have been many things in my life previously, but never was I a thief or a liar.  I really could use a friend to talk to.  Being sober has shown me all the people that I was around before were not real friends to me, and a real friend is something everyone should experience at least once in their life.  Drop me a line to say hello, or with any words of encouragement or prayers you may have, it will be greatly appreciated.  God bless you and yours.
